I decided to google healthy breakfast and this is one of the first articles I found.
Here is what I found on this healthy 280 calorie “healthy breakfast”
First it is really 320 calories…not 280.
The article is focusing on calories but quality also plays a factor.
The first ingredient is white flour..a definite no-no.
Next the doughnut has 9 grams of sugar which is equal to a lollipop. Would you eat candy for breakfast? There is no difference between the two..There are no beneficial nutrients in a doughnut.
Try a homemade whole wheat breakfast instead!
1/2 cup of oats with 1/2 an apple and raisins= 200-250 calories which is full of fiber, vitamins, and healthy sugars.
