Yammy Hummus

This turned out really really good.
I was inspired by this sweet potato hummus recipe:

1 and 1/2 cups Yams
1 and 1/2 cups Garbanzos
3 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Olive oil
Fresh garlic or garlic powder

1. Steam yams until they are soft. Approx 8-12 minutes
2. Process sesame seeds in a handheld blender like a magic bullet. If you don’t have one, process seeds before yams and hummus, then add yams and hummus.
3. Process yams and garbanzos with a drizzle of olive oil, garlic and a dash of cumin.
I was lazy so I used garlic powder rather than fresh garlic.. 🙂
3. Add water until the hummus is the texture you like. Don’t add a lot at once. Slowly add at a tbsp a time.

Can serve with beet chips. Delish!
